Penske Truck Leasing Opens New Cheektowaga, N.Y. Location

READING, Pa., May 11, 2011 - Penske Truck Leasing has opened a new $7 million state-of-the-art facility in Cheektowaga, N,Y., a Buffalo suburb. Located at 3828 Broadway St., the 14,000 square-foot building is housed on eight acres and offers full-service truck leasing, consumer and commercial truck rental and contract maintenance services.

"We're very pleased to make a sizable investment in the Buffalo market with this new Cheektowaga facility," said Dan O'Boyle, Senior Vice President - North Central Region, Penske Truck Leasing. "We're now more centrally located within a thriving business community, and this is where most of our customers and prospects are located."

This new location is expected to employ a total of 30 associates. It contains four service bays, a two-lane fuel island and an automated wash bay. The maintenance shop also uses leading-edge wireless technology that enables Penske's service technicians to automatically connect vehicles in for service with diagnostic and analytic software.

Rental hours: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday. Service hours: 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Since Penske has expanded into this new and upgraded facility, two smaller nearby facilities in Buffalo (3710 Milestrip Road) and Tonawanda (155 Woodward Ave. W.) will close along with a Rental Mart in Depew (3263 Walden Ave.). All Penske associates will be transferred to the new Cheektowaga location.
